Prestressed concrete pipe pile (referred to as pipe pile) has been widely used because of the advantages of high single pile bearing capacity, fast construction speed and suitable price. At present, most projects adopt traditional manual welding for pipe pile joint treatment. In terms of technology and quality, this method requires 4~6 symmetrical spot welding points first. During symmetrical welding, welds should be continuously full without slag inclusion or pores, and the number of welding layers should be more than two layers.
Generally, each joint is welded in about 20min, and after the weld cools naturally for 8min, it can continue to press or pile. Because the traditional piling technology consumes too much time, the weld quality is affected by human factors and weather conditions, so it is difficult to guarantee. In order to improve the efficiency and quality of pile connection, more and more methods are sought to use other joints, among which the new mechanical threaded joint technology of prestressed concrete pipe pile has been popularized and applied.
