When manually tightening and loosening screws on construction sites and other workplaces, the time-consuming task of changing screwdriver heads to match each screw groove size sometimes leads to problems with users using a driver head that does not match the groove size for disassembly and assembly, leading to groove collapse.

To solve these problems Nitto Seiko has developed the Share Cross cross groove which allows the use of digitally adjacent drivers. share cross can be used for a variety of fastenings, making production operations more efficient.

The Share Cross is shaped as a small cross-groove with a large cross-groove superimposed on it, so that driver heads with adjacent numbers, such as No. 2 and No. 3, can be used together. This construction allows the driving surfaces used to transmit torque to be shared, thus enabling optimal adaptation of the driver head to maximise performance.
